You will need: walking shoes, binoculars, cap, field guide if you have one, and an umbrella (for the less adventurous). Sandals and shorts are not recommended.
If time and weather permit, we can find a tree to sit under for a short while to talk about birds (and birdwatchers). Bringing snacks is highly appreciated but is not mandatory 🙂
Please keep in mind that this area is frequented by elephants. There have been incidents of overzealous birdwatchers/photographers/trekkers encountering them. So, please stay with the group during the walk. Your safety will be your own responsibility.
How to get to Ragihalli:

[From Dairy Circle, drive south towards Bannerghatta. At Bannerghatta circle, turn left towards Anekal. At Ragihalli gate, turn right and drive for 8km to reach Ragihalli village]
There is a bus (route 370) which plies between Krishnarajendra Market and Ragihalli early in the morning. This will arrive at Bannerghatta circle by 6.30AM.
